2012 marks the 21th anniversary of Kay Makan, More than two decades since its inception, the business. Today there are four Kay Makan Expert branches in KZN situated in: Midlands, Pietermaritzburg, Durban and Umhlanga and more than 75 permanent staff.

Kanthylal Makan is a founder member of the Iser-Expert buying group that was formed more than 10 years ago by major independent dealers trading in electronics, appliances, furniture and housewares in South Africa.
